Spark Collection's mission is to inspire families to learn language and culture in a fun and meaningful way.

Irene, a mother in a Chinese–Korean American family, became her son’s full‑time caregiver when daycare shut during the pandemic. Noticing his rapid language learning, she searched for Chinese and Korean books but found few engaging, accessible options for non‑fluent, multicultural families. After a failed flashcard session—he tossed them instead of learning—she transformed the cards into lift‑the‑flap storybook features. The prototype worked: he learned the words and loved the flaps. Inspired, Irene turned her idea into real books and toys, hoping their thoughtful design will bring joy and language learning to other families.
